Don Bristow – Artist of the Month – June 2017

Photographer/Fractal Artist Don Bristow is our Artist of the Month for June, 2017.

We invite you to visit Valerosa Designs & Gallery to see his wonderful piece, River of Life, in the window.

Don joined Art Connection in 2016, and he was interviewed twice that year. His work was featured in the first All Men’s Art Show at Valerosa Designs & Gallery. During that show, he not only displayed an example of his work, but he provided a slideshow to music on a large TV monitor.

Besides his amazing mathematical art, Don has actively promoted East Texas artists, especially artists in his home town, Bullard. In 2016, he partnered with photographer Mike Provencher and M6 Winery to produce an exhibit entitled Bullard Artists – Portraits and Representative Works. Since then, several of those Bullard artists have been radio guests on Art Connection and are represented by Valerosa Designs & Gallery. Don’s major contribution to East Texas artists is his donation of artconnectionetx.org, a website that promotes East Texas artists, especially members of the Art Connection of East Texas.
