The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine,  Tyler Museum of Art and Art Connection Via Valerosa opened the second annual art exhibition with a Reception Thursday, April 18 at the U T Tyler Health Science Center, in the President’s Event Center.

Abhidnya (Abhi) Ghuge of Tyler and Orland Guillen of Palestine were celebrated as the exhibiting artists.

Dr. Brigham Willis, Founding Dean of the School of Medicine, Caleb Bell, Executive Director of Tyler Museum of Art and Neita Fran Ward, Art Connection Via Valerosa introduced the artists and made remarks explaining the purpose behind the exhibition in the academic medical facility.

Lacie Carpenter, formerly of Tyler, now living in Nashville, performed one of her delightful songs.

Amond the more than 60 guests, the accompanying video shows several guests enjoying the exhibition as they spoke with the artists.

The exhibition will be displayed in the building for the remainder of 2024 and through the second semester of the academic year, 2024-2025.
