Dr. Lane Brunner, Dean of the UTT College of Pharmacy, died August 31, 2022 in Tyler. Dr. Brunner had a year long battle with brain cancer. He died with the same dignity that he lived. Brilliant and creative in everything he did.
Lane embraced the concept of putting local, original art from Valerosa Gallery into the College of Pharmacy on the UTT campus. The first installation was the fall of 2016, and this year’s installation will be the 5th.
Lane was a man of many interests and many talents. Always positive, he saw every problem as an opportunity to grow and stretch one’s abilities. The artists lost a friend of the arts. He was admired in every circle he entered.
